VFW Post 7764 will post the American Flags on the Courthouse Square on July 3, 2024, to celebrate the 4th of July.  The posting of the large 10’ X16’ flag on the south facing the second story of the Courthouse has become an annual tradition for the past several years.  The process of raising that flag and attaching it will occur sometime around 8:30 a.m., after the regular flags have been posted on the Courthouse Square and the Tattnall County Veterans Memorial Park. Those who would like to take part or observe the posting of the flags should be present in front of the Courthouse by 8 a.m.
