Long County Commission Chairman recently Robert Parker recently donated a personal check for $500 to the Long County Middle School golf team.

The money will be used for uniforms for the 2024 season.

"I am an avid supporter of our public school system, both academics and athletics. While building their minds, we must be aware of strengthening their bodies as well. Our schools' athletics programs also help to build character, responsibility, and teamwork in our students," said Parker.
