Dusty West has been appointed District 5 Chair of GFDA (Georgia Funeral Directors Association). He is a native of Tattnall County and resides in Reidsville. He is a 2015 graduate of Tattnall County High School and 2020 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Funeral Service Education. Dusty received his license in March of 2022 and started with Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home in August of 2022. 

He has worked in the funeral service profession since 2013 and in his spare time enjoys spending time on his tractors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He is a member of the Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia; Greater Tattnall Chamber of Commerce, where he serves on the Board of Director and is Executive Director of the Junior Board; and Reidsville Baptist Church. 

Dusty’s girlfriend is Morgan Jaynes of Rincon, and he Is the son of Jared and Desiree West of Reidsville. Maternal grandparents are Joe and Lillian Durrence and paternal grandparents are Robert and Gail West of Reidsville.
