After struggling for several weeks to get a W, the Tattnall County Lady Warrior Volleyball squad won two non-region games on September 27, 2022.

The Lady Warriors won their match against Wayne County in two sets, 25-21 and 25-22. This was the Lady Warriors’ third time seeing Wayne County.

“Our girls came out scoring from the get go against Wayne County and didn’t let up. We had a lot of great hits and our serves were on point.  We played with a lot of intensity and control and beat Wayne County, 2-0,” Head Coach Ashley Findley said. “Our girls needed this win to let them know they can compete with anyone. That lead to getting a win over Bryan County.”

Tattnall won their match versus Bryan County, 2-1. The Lady Warriors won two sets, 25-18 and 17-15, and lost one set, 25-23.

“Our girls played very hard. We’ve been dealing with some injuries and illnesses, but our girls came to play and came away with two wins for the night,” Findley said.

The Lady Warriors hosted Pierce County on Tuesday, October 4 as a non-region game, since the first two games counted for their region standings. While the Lady Warriors fell 2-0 to Pierce, they came back to get a W in their match with Brantley County, winning 2-1.

The seniors who will be honored on Tuesday during senior night are: #23 Chloe Stanfield, #20 Sarah Sapp, #34 Rylee Smith, #1 Natalie Martinez, and #3 Mayra Lima.
