On July 28, 2022, at the Christian Women Fellowship meeting, the honored guest was Mayor Barbara Maefield of Nahunta, Georgia.
Her spiritual motto is, "We are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden." Matthew 5:14
Mayor Mayfield spoke on the past and future of life. To sum up her many quotes and truths, we are and will be challenged in our life, and, if we have Jesus, we will overcome so many obstacles. We must stay focused.
Rev. Reba Feliciano presented Mayor Maefield with a gift, and the Mayor returned the same favor with a gift for Rev. Feliciano.
Rev. Dr. Lillie P. Taylor was also presented with a large portrait from Mrs. Carswell, a Reidsville resident.
The meeting was very informative. Thanks are extended to Mayor Maefield for accepting the group’s invitation and for her wonderful encouraging words on her experiences in life.
Thanks are also extended to Mrs. Tia Garrett, owner, and the staff of "Sho' Nuff Smokin Good BBQ T3 Restaurant in Glennville for hosting the meeting. The food was delicious, and everyone also thanks their anonymous Spiritual Leader for purchasing the meals. A shout out is given to the members for being in attendance. Words cannot explain what a great time everyone shared with each other. The group will continue to pray for their grieving families and everyone.
President Novella King invites everyone to come to the next meeting, which will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, at Center of Life Church of God in Glennville, located at 1202 Martin Luther King Drive.
There is always a treat for you in God’s Words.
