Tattnall County Extension has a thriving 4-H program, and many of these 4-H members were present at the Tattnall County Commissioners' meeting on Monday, October 5, 2026, when Chairman Bill Kicklighter presented 4-H Agent Rebekah Greene with a framed proclamation that recognizes October 4-10, 2026, as National 4-H Week. The month of October 2026 is also observed as Tattnall County 4-H Month.
