Anna Loutrell Futch, age 88, departed her earthly home on August 10, 2022, at Evans Memorial Hospital. She was born December 9, 1933, to Edell Driggers Stubbs and Joseph Claude Stubbs. She lived in Glennville all her life. She was a 1951 graduate of Glennville High School, and she attended Savannah Vocational Technical College.

She worked as an accounting clerk at the Post Exchange office on Ft. Stewart for several years.  She later worked as a seamstress at Mercel Manufacturing Company and Colonial Boutique. She also managed Bill’s Dollar Stores in Pembroke and Glennville.

She loved shopping for beautiful things and attending auctions and antique shops to find fancy treasures. She enjoyed traveling and trying new restaurants. In the last few years, her favorite thing to do was sit on her front porch, talking with her friends and family, and watching the wildlife.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy Stubbs Banks; a son, Victor Dale Guy; and husband, Steven Aubrey Futch.

She is survived by children: Debra Benton (Terry), Kelli Altman (John), and Angela Weaver Guy, all of Glennville; grandchildren:  RJ Guy (Marsha), Brandi DeLoach, Brittany Graves (Daniel), Trent Morgan (Ashley), Tiffany Krippner (Mike), Matthew Teague (Ginger), Kristi Yancey (Josh), Trevor Foster (Casey), Baylee Foster (Aiyana), Colby Foster (Adrienne), Gabe Foster, Leslie Standridge (Dwight), and April Adams; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Love’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at Love’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be private.

Care and services are entrusted to Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia.
