CES Beta Club inducts nine new members

The CES Beta Club inducted nine new members on Thursday, March 24. 

The new members are as follows: Mahalee Spearmon, Daniel Nelson, Collins Shuman, Brent Bennett, Addie Barnard, America Trejo Soto, Ayamyrah Santiago, Tykiria Moore, and Carly Hattaway. 

Students in the fifth grade must have a GPA of 95 to receive an invitation and maintain a GPA of 90 or above to remain a member.

After the ceremony Sheriff Kyle Sapp presented the group with a $2,000 check from the Canoochee EMC Operation Round Up Grant. The money will be used to help send the club members who qualified to compete to the National Beta Club Convention this summer in Nashville, Tennesee. Those members are Mahalee Spearmon, Tykiria Moore, Carly Hattaway, and Addie Barnard.
