Deer being an issue in farming is something akin to saying water is wet; that is why UGA is continuing research (with Dr. Camp Hand, UGA cotton agronomist leading the charge) on ways to combat this ever-growing problem. The University is also working with GA Department of Agriculture to find ways to lower the deer population. According to Georgia DNR
