Chris Yaughn, son of former Tattnall County High School coach and athletic director Hugh Yaughn, is the founder of Fostering Bulloch, an organization he formed in 2010 as he saw a great need for supporting foster children and their families. Over 7000 children enter the Georgia State foster care system every year. In light of current economic and social struggles, that number is not anticipated to go down anytime soon. With a current inventory of only 4000 to 5000 certified foster homes, the state of Georgia is currently at a deficit when it comes to caring for children in need.
