TCHS National BETA students participated in the Georgia BETA Convention

Tattnall County High School National BETA students participated in the Georgia State BETA Convention held on January 26-28, 2022, at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. 

The following students placed at the state convention level:

Black and White Photography: Alissa Driggers - 3rd Place

Digital Art: Emma McDaniel - 4th Place

Jewelry: Kylea Brogden - 5th Place

Language Arts Academic Test: Anna Bender – 2nd Place

Mixed Media: Kylea Brogden - 5th Place

Portfolio: Emily Crawford, Anna DeLoach, Yocelin Ramos, Carly Coleman, Kylea Brogden, Jake Debevec, Caiden Kirby - 1st Place

Recyclable Art: Elana Yancey - 3rd Place

Robitics: Mason Johnson, Alex Cheek, Alissa Driggers, Aniyah Conyers, Brandon Lima – 3rd Place (1st time competing in this category)

Technology: Jake Debevec, Nir Patel, Jonathan Chandler – 2nd Place (1st time competing in this category)

3-Dimensional Design: Mariah Hernandez, Natalia Flores, Natasha Delgado – 3rd Place

Language Arts Academic Test, Robotics, Technology, and 3-Dimensional Design competed at Nationals held in Nashville, TN. Our students chose to compete virtually rather than attend in person. It was held July 1st – 4th. 

TCHS is proud to announce that we had one National Winner:

3-Dimensional Design - Mariah Hernandez, Natalia Flores, Natasha Delgado - 3rd Place. Congratulations to these girls. 

TCHS is looking for even greater things this year for Senior BETA. Georgia State convention will be held in Savannah on January 25-27, 2023.  National Convention will be held June 17 – 20, 2023, in Kentucky.
