Members of the Tattnall County High School (TCHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Leadership Team traveled to Swainsboro High School for the Summer Leadership and Officer Training Summit (SLOTS) on July 20, 2022.

The purpose of SLOTS is to help prepare local chapter officers and leaders for the upcoming year. The agenda consisted of a breakout session that allowed officers to meet with fellow officers from other chapters in order to gain an understanding of their duties and roles. Another session allowed members to discuss a variety of chapter activities, such as fundraising and service projects.

Members and advisors were treated to a networking lunch followed by 30-second success stories. Team building exercises allowed participants the opportunity to work on teams consisting of members from other chapters. The members really have fun with these activities. The last part of the day was spent in a strategic planning session with advisors Tracy Waters and Jennifer Rogers. Goals and a chapter program of work were started and will be finalized at the next leadership team meeting.

TCHS FBLA is ready to hit the ground running! They look forward to an amazing year full of awesome activities, competitions, and memories.
