Bernie Weaver qualified last week to seek re-election as Mayor of the City of Glennville in the November 7, 2023, election. He has served as Glennville Mayor for the past four years and feels honored to have served the community in this capacity.

He asks for the support once again of the citizens of Glennville so that the progress that has been made the past four years can continue. Weaver is a member of several local civic clubs and other organizations supportive of the City of Glennville.

He is married to the former Paulette Durrence of Glennville, who is a lifelong resident of Glennville and a retired elementary school teacher.
